You guys said getting involved in poly would likely bring up dormant issues in everyone involved. Well, it brought up one in me. In the General Discussion section I brought up that I was thinking about my wife's past infidelity more and more. I was also getting nervous and scared, and I couldn't figure out why. Last night I was talking to my wife and I think she hit the nail right on the head.
She had noticed over the past few weeks I've been getting more and more emotional, to the point where she said I was acting like a girl (her words, not mine lol). About the time I started was when her and I met Miranda. And over the past few weeks I've been getting closer to Miranda. What my wife came up with is that because I was hurt so bad by her, I'm scared to open myself up to anyone else and make myself vulnerable. After thinking about it, I believe she is completely right. Its good this comes out now, so I can work on it before things get too serious. And my wife is very happy that she was able to help me for once instead of the other way around.

Self discovery is a wonderful thing my friend. It can be scary at times but it brings you closer to who you truly are. It's good that your wife could help you in this.
Take care Mono
