Default Hello from Utah

Hello, my name is Ian. I have recently backpacked across Europe and while I was there I met a Polyamorous Family. The Family was one Female and 2 Males. While I stayed with them I continually saw the love that these three people had for each other. They loved each other equally, it was beautiful. I have begun to realize that I can not be in a mono relationship, for some reason they dont work for me.

Greetings Ian,
Welcome to our forum. Please feel free to lurk, browse, etc.

You have discovered a bright new way of loving that you had not heard of before. Polyamory has great potential to be a wonderful thing in people's lives, and has realized that potential more than once. I myself am in a household with one women and two men. We get along pretty darn good if I may say so. Incidentally I was born and raised in Highland Utah so there's some common ground as well.

Of course, polyamory can go badly too, so you're smart to join us on Polyamory.com as you can learn much here about the ins and outs of how to make poly work. Some people just aren't suited for it. Others aren't prepared. You can avoid those pitfalls by studying up here, and asking questions and such as appropriate.

Recommended boards for that sort of thing:
Hope you enjoy your stay.
Sincerely,

There's a *lot* of good info in Golden Nuggets. Have a look!

Please read through the guidelines if you haven't already.

Note: You needn't read every reply to your posts, especially if someone posts in a disagreeable way. Given the size and scope of the site it's hard not to run into the occasional disagreeable person. Please contact the mods if you do (or if you see any spam), and you can block the person if you want.

If you have any questions about the board itself, please private-message a mod and they'll do their best to help.

Welcome aboard!
