Hello & Thank you!
Howdy All! A quick intro to myself for now....
I am a gay married man living in San Francisco. I'm currently in an open marriage. However, I've never felt I fit any mold for relationships. Always feeling a bit out of place in mono-relationships and rather unsatisfied in open relationships.... I first heard of polyamory about a decade ago, but never did any research on it. Soon after I started my current relationship. Now I feel as if my personal growth has been stifled and want to break through, so to speak. And, of course a situation has arisen which has brought the notions of poly back up. Hence how I found this forum and why I'm here. Well, that's it in a nutshell. And I wanted to thank creator of this site and all it's wonderful members. I've been reading a bit and will continue, but thought I should get registered and start communicating. You are doing such wonderful things for folks!!

When speaking of various forms of non-monogamy...it ain't poly if you're just fucking around. While polyamory, open relationships, and swinging are all distinctly different approaches to non-monogamy, they are not mutually exlusive. Folks can, and some do, engage in more than one of them at a time--and it's all good.
