New, new, new. I'm a wife in a mono relationship for 6years. Haven't dipped our toes into the poly pool yet. Thinking it may be me... My husband seems like a mono- he knows our sex drives don't match. Considering my options, but just researching now. Want everything to be above board... Love my husband to no end.
Thanks... |

Welcome aboard.

When speaking of various forms of non-monogamy...it ain't poly if you're just fucking around. While polyamory, open relationships, and swinging are all distinctly different approaches to non-monogamy, they are not mutually exlusive. Folks can, and some do, engage in more than one of them at a time--and it's all good. |

There seem to be many poly, or poly-interested folk throughout the state - I initially thought that it would be mostly centered on NYC, but have been really surprised that it goes from the tip of Long Island all the way through Syracuse and Ithaca to Rochester, Buffalo and the Adirondacks!
So I love to see folks "coming out of the woodwork!"

Reading something somewhere about the first "poly commune" being located in Onieda in the 1880's. That's cool.
