New poster here.
Hi. I'm a man who has been curious about polyamorous relationships for about 7 years. I just started a relationship with a poly woman last week and she told me about this forum, so I thought I'd pop on and say hello.
I look forward to sharing in the wisdom of others. The whole thing is very new, strange, and wonderful.

When speaking of various forms of non-monogamy...it ain't poly if you're just fucking around. While polyamory, open relationships, and swinging are all distinctly different approaches to non-monogamy, they are not mutually exlusive. Folks can, and some do, engage in more than one of them at a time--and it's all good.
