You wouldn't be blasted ... Stuff just gets moved and you're told why. No fuss, no hard feelings.

We don't give infractions for posting in the wrong part of the forum on tthis site, we just move the post to the appropriate place.

Trucker Pete is correct. New to Polyamory is the appropriate place for a post like you described. Alternatively, you could start a thread in Life Stories and Blogs and add to it anytime you have something new.

Not all swingers swap with other couples. Some "play" solo or even with other couples, but separately. I would call an open marriage in which the partners are allowed to play, but without developing emotional connections with their playmates, a subset of swinging. Poly usually implies emotional connection and some sort of loving relationship. We all defy definition though, in some way, shape or form

You're not going to blasted here for being non-monogamous in any form. As we've pointed out, many of us also have open relationships and others also swing. The discussions are primarily about romantic relationships, though we can certainly involve some discussions about friends with benefits and other topics concerning open relationships.
When speaking of various forms of non-monogamy...it ain't poly if you're just fucking around.

While polyamory, open relationships, and swinging are all distinctly different approaches to non-monogamy, they are not mutually exlusive. Folks can, and some do, engage in more than one of them at a time--and it's all good.
