I'm Lily, and I'm 18. I'm bisexual, and very new to the concept of polyamory. I have a straight boyfriend who I've been with for a year now, and who may or may not be open to the idea.
I'm basically just exploring my options right now. I love my boyfriend and I love being with him...but I still find myself attracted to other women. I don't want just a friend I mess around with, I want a real relationship with a woman and yet still have my boyfriend. I feel almost...selfish saying that but that's how I feel. I know my boyfriend's okay with me messing around with other women, I just don't know how he'd feel about me bringing emotions into play. It's very confusing. I want to be honest with him and share how I feel before I even try it out...but it's kinda scary. I don't want this to ruin us. I guess I'm here to learn and grow, and maybe even make friends along the way. XD <3 |

Welcome aboard.

When speaking of various forms of non-monogamy...it ain't poly if you're just fucking around. While polyamory, open relationships, and swinging are all distinctly different approaches to non-monogamy, they are not mutually exlusive. Folks can, and some do, engage in more than one of them at a time--and it's all good. |

Thanks for the welcome. It's so nice to know I'm not alone in this. xD
