hello!
hi!
My name is Mira, and I am quite new to poly relationships. I have been with my love for 7 months now, and he is starting on the third year with his first lady. I am "the other girlfriend", and I don't mind the title  I am here because everybody I know that is in a poly relationship is very very close to me (little too close), and everybody else is giving me one million questions of how we can make it work, weird looks or just get shush me of with: "it sounds very complicated" or: "I could never accept that". I will spend some time read trough the forum later on, but now I have an urge to eat sushi, and will do so. Looking forward to get to know people!

When speaking of various forms of non-monogamy...it ain't poly if you're just fucking around. While polyamory, open relationships, and swinging are all distinctly different approaches to non-monogamy, they are not mutually exlusive. Folks can, and some do, engage in more than one of them at a time--and it's all good.
