Smile Hello from Kansas City!

Hey there everybody! We would like to introduce ourselves to the community, we are a late 20's aged married white couple with kids from the Kansas City area. We have intensively discussed the idea of polyamory over the last few months and we want to give it a go. Swinging has been our thing over the last couple of years with other couples, but we would love to have a couple that we can just settle down with, to love, and to let our swinging phase go.

We know that we want is something that won't be found overnight, and that we may be too picky, as well. We are in the midst of trying to find the right couple for a polyamorous quad relationship. Both of us are bi, so that takes a lot of people out the door. So, where do we go from here?

Hi and welcome!

There's nothing wrong with having some high standards when it comes to what you are looking for, as long as you are willing to recognise that it's probably going to take longer to find folks that fit.

The upside is that you won't be feeling like you are wasting time with people who aren't a good fit for you, and the ensuing drama....

Hello marriedcoupleinkc,
Welcome to our forum.

Check out our Dating & Friendships subforum if you haven't already; it might help you get started in your search.

In the meantime, take advantage of this chance to learn a lot about polyamory in general by looking through the various threads/boards here. Post any thoughts/questions/concerns you might have.

You might try a Google search for "Kansas City polyamory" or "Missouri polyamory." If there are any local poly groups, you might want to get together with them and make some friends.

Wishing you the best of success and love,
Kevin T.
