Default Two partners who don't like one another

Has anyone been dating or involved with two people who did not like each other, even as friends? What kind of issues have you faced? How did you work to resolve the problem?

I'm not friends with my husband's other partner. I don't actively dislike her but we really have nothing in common and I have a hard time being comfortable around her. We just don't spend any time together and it works out just fine.

Its not mandatory to like and hang out with your metamours... it is helpful and adds to the relationship more often than not I think, but that doesn't mean its not workable.

A good knowledge of one another, an open line to communicate if needed and suitable boundaries that have been discussed and agreed to is the base of what is needed I think.
