Default Meeting Couples

I find it's hard enough finding a great monogamous partner never mind finding a great poly couple. Any advice on meeting or making introductions? I'm the single one and my only experience was being in the couple. Basically the shoe is on the other foot. I'm in AB, Canada.

Why not start with our Dating & Friendships (North America) board.

Then there's poly-friendly dating sites:
And sites/pages for finding local poly groups in your area:
Try also googling "Edmonton polyamory" and "Alberta polyamory" ... and see if any local groups come up in the list of results.

And here's a thought:
Quote:
"As for where to meet poly people, if by some chance you are interested in anything alternative like Renaissance fairs, goth culture, sci-fi conventions, indie music, bdsm, or any small fringe group, you will be more likely to meet people who have at least heard of poly and are accepting of it."
-- SpaceHippieGeek, Polyamorous Percolations
And even if it's not an "alternative" type group, if there's a club or something in your area that does something you're interested in, you can always join that group and it just gives you a way to get out there and meet people. If you meet someone on a platonic level and get to talking about poly, then they can decide how they feel about it without any "pressure to agree." Then if they do decide poly doesn't bother them too much, and some kind of romantic connection subsequently develops, you'll already have "had the poly conversation" with them.

Does that help?

Smile Coupling

Those are some sites I havent tried. Just nervous I suppose. My friends know that I am ok with this life style and find It funny. More I think because it is unconventional. I tried asking around and they don't have any else in their life that may be interested. Oh well. Back to the drawing board
