We are a couple that have been more or less mono for the last twenty or so years. Married fourteen. Well I was wired mono she never has been. She had suggested poly for years but I reacted badly every time. About nine months ago we invited JLs(wife) BF (SV) to live with us (he is from out of state). Since then I have come to accept and understand poly for myself. JL and SV are still doing very well, he and I have become pretty good friends too. I even met a friend of my own (NG) last year. Im here trying to deal with the failure of that experiment (NG) and its resulting fallout.
Thanks in advance for yalls support! |

Welcome aboard.

When speaking of various forms of non-monogamy...it ain't poly if you're just fucking around. While polyamory, open relationships, and swinging are all distinctly different approaches to non-monogamy, they are not mutually exlusive. Folks can, and some do, engage in more than one of them at a time--and it's all good. |
