It's certain not a commonly known term, unless (I suppose) you visit message boards where everyone is trying to make babies. I guess there's an abbreviation or acronym for just about everything, including PTAPMB.

I thought the concept of TTC was super common, from the land of abbrivations . I heard it in another (NOT baby) forum where there is also lots of Americans, nooone explained anything to anyone so I just secretly googled it, under the impression that I was the odd one out for not knowing

There is not a concept like that in my language. I guess you could say "we are trying", with the meaning implicit.

I have to admit the only TTC I ever heard of was the Toronto Transit Commission (and then adding "everyone on board?" made it sound like a slogan for the bus... )
