HPV Vaccine for 27+

Anyone know of resources for locating doctors who will provide HPV vaccines for those who are 27 or older?

Texas mandates by law for kids, but if you're 27+ it's nearly impossible to get?

That's government...

Drop by your local planned parenthood and ask. I called one and over the phone they said no but said if I came by in person they could refer me. When I showed up they said insurance wouldn't cover it but that as long as I paid cash (~$300 per shot) they could do it. I don't know how common this is, but it worked for me.

We tried that...

They wouldn't do it for over 26. And my wife is only 27. And I was her only intercourse partner. Still wouldn't....it's stupid insane.

You may also try local STI clinics. Do you have another doctor? Like if the gynecologist is being a butt, try your primary care physician. It will cost you - most insurance won't cover anyone over 26. I am 41 and paying for Gardasil out of pocket. It's about $200 a shot (there are 3 shots needed). If you can afford it, I encourage you to get a HPV vaccine.
