Respecting and enforcing limits

I am not sure you can use a cervical cap with a condom. I know you can't use a diaphragm with a condom, the 2 latex surfaces rub together and can cause a tear.

Why not try a non hormonal IUD?

As for communication issues, see my sig in blue at the bottom of this post.

I've always used condoms with my diaphragm, and never had a tear. I didn't know that was a no-no! Yikes.

Well, my mom told me that is how my sister and I were conceived. But that was back in the 50s.

But maybe things have changed? Maybe latex is stronger. I just googled it and some sites, including Planned Parenthood, say you can and perhaps should use a condom along with a diaphragm for maximum protection.

Sorry for the scare! My mistake. But Mom was so disappointed with using latex, she went on The Pill as soon as it came on the market, I do know that. Sister and I were born 15 months apart.

Yeah, when my V is open and I am dealing with outside partners, I want both forms of protection. I have had a couple of partners have their condoms come off and I was happy to have the diaphragm as a barrier, at least.
