If monogamy is "natural" why should we need laws and cultural sanctions to try and prevent multiple sexual relationships?

Why can't people mind their own business and allow people to live their own lives however they want to live them, be it of course that it doesn't inflict harm on anyone else. People need to realize that not everyone is the same and it isn't right to coerce people into fitting into a one size fits all cookie cutter mold!

If you lived in British Columbia, Canada, as I do, you would be breaking the law. There is a strong polygamous fundamental Mormon community here. I am breaking the law by living with my two men. There is a court case going on right now in the supreme court to over turn or change the law... there is a thread here http://www.polyamory.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1204 that addresses the case. It just ended this week so I suspect there will be more added to it soon.

I'm really sorry that you're in the situation that you're in. It shouldn't be that way, and maybe someday it won't. You just have to remain strong and keep being authentic. <3
