Have you ever had a relationship end without a final closure? If not, this might be time to learn. Not every relationship gets that last step. Sometimes closure is absolute discontinued contact.

Agreed. Sometimes closure is not in the cards.

As adored friend worded it to Breathes not so long ago "it's selfish to want to keep a relationship with someone when that relationship is obviously hurting your significant other". The relationship adored friend was referring to had to end without closure, there was no other option. It sounds like there isn't an option here either.
