Hello Everyone
I just wanted to take a moment and introduce myself. My name is Robb, and my wife and I are new to poly but eager to fill ourselves with all the knowledge we can from members on this board. My wife plans on joining these boards also as soon as she has some free time.
The two of us have been swingers for years, but also realized we were looking for something more then just sex with others. While sex with others is fun, that I can not deny, we found ourselves missing that intamacy and emotional connection with others. So in a nutshell, we are here for a couple reasons, one is to bask in the wisdom and knowledge of those of you whom have been in the community for some time. We are also here to find a group of people that we can share with and lean on, as we enter the infancy stages of poly relationship, during the ups and the downs.

When speaking of various forms of non-monogamy...it ain't poly if you're just fucking around. While polyamory, open relationships, and swinging are all distinctly different approaches to non-monogamy, they are not mutually exlusive. Folks can, and some do, engage in more than one of them at a time--and it's all good.
