Nonsense. Poly relationships are just like mono relationships, except there are more people. The same "general relationship" skills still apply. The biggest difference is that everything, good or bad, is amplified. You can't sit on "good enough" for very long.
As I am sure any cat owner will be able to tell you,
someone else putting you in a box is entirely different
from getting into a box yourself.
