I don't know where to start, I'm not in a poly relationship and have never been. I have always been curious about poly relationships, I'm in a couple of groups but of course I never post anything. I'm too scared to, even thought I have this tugging at my heart to jump in and talk, I don't. I'm hoping that joining this forum I will meet some people who will talk to me about poly and why I have this undying need to connect with others into this lifestyle. Believe it or not I live with two men but in no way, shape or form is it poly and I don't want it to be with them. So if anyone is interested in a real newbie, I'm here.

Are you into paganism? I have noticed that a large number of polyamory people are also pagan.

I would say do some browsing, find a thread or person you can relate to and start talking/asking! Or just put a question out there if you don't see something related. Don't be afraid to start a new thread.

Can I ask this Mono, how did you get involved? Were you raised in a poly family or was it something you just knew you were into? My family is Catholic and growing up I knew of no one into this lifestyle. I guess that's the main reason I'm confused. I'm also into DD and HOH relationships another thing my family is totally against and a main reason why I'm an outcast now but, that's another story. I did start talking to another couple from a different group but, it lead nowhere thanks to my own doing.

I am extremely lucky..beyond words. Being nice is just in my nature..kinda like being monogamous

I'm pretty vanilla in a lot of ways LOL hence my MonoVanillaCrackerPolyHagGuru nick name...if you don't mind me asking, what does DD and HOH stand for?
