Excited and Nervous

Tomorrow night JustChristine, and myself will be going to our 1st poly event. It's a cocktail hour thing, and it seems like fun. I'm very excited, but absolutely nervous. I don't know if there will be people our age there, or if they're nice, but i'm generally an extrovert so i think i'll be ok. We shall see. I'll let you all know how it went.

Thank goodness you're an extrovert, because I'm even more nervous than you are! I'm really excited (15 min til i get out of work, can't wait!), but new social situations always give me a bit of anxiety, so I'll be glad I'm not going alone.

I'm not getting my hopes up too high that there will be many people our age there, but maybe I will be pleasantly surprised.

me tooo. im nervous. im probably going by myself as P cant make it tonight. i have social anxiety disorder sooo...im nervous about socializing under the most 'normal' circumstances....but im going to try to push myself and have an open mind =D
