and now the practical issue....
If he's not taking care of his teeth/washing his body... would sleeping with him cause infections/problems? My ex-partner was a stickler for washing hands before and after mutual masturbation... mainly because it prevents Urinary Tract Infections... A different partner (mono---- years ago) had gum disease... and my gums were damaged because we'd kiss (and more) and go to sleep. If he's sloppy with his cleanliness... is he aware of how to protect himself from infectious diseases? I know, this is harsh.. but more important than the aesthetics.

Usually people put their best foot forward on a first date. It's all down-hill from there. If you start at the rut running along the bottom of the hill, there's not much room to go down.
As gross as he sounds... it's better than the bait'n'switch. My friend married a girl who used to dress really sharp and work out 5 times a week. Literally the day after the wedding, she started wearing sweats and stopped going to the gym. At least he showed you what you're in for if you stick around, gave you the chance to get away while the going's easy.

Hmmm. I suppose it depends; my partner doesn't wash his hair/bathe every day, but I love his scent and don't mind that at all. There is a point, though, where it goes from OMG-pheromones-come-here to Hmmm...want to take a shower? Heh.

Bad hygiene is a major turn off for me, So yeah that would be a deal-breaker.
'Specially on a first date. Best foot forward, and if that's their best foot, I'm not interested. |

If I'm mtg for a lunch or just after work hello-I will let it go as I tend to be attracted to guys in construction.
But-in order to seriously date someone-daily shower at least once, maybe twice becuase I like sex every day.

My former husband worked as a house painter, so physical labor. He showered twice a day...once in the morning before work, and then after he came home from work. (His choice) If I happened to catch him right after work, before his second shower, no problem because on him "clean" sweat smelled waaaaaaay different than sweat and greasy hair that's been accumulating on someone over a few days. I found his "clean sweat" to be rather a turn-on!
Stinky......smelly......accumulated sweat....total deal-breaker!
