I'm a poly woman. I have a lover/friend, and my husband and I have recently decided to separate.

I have two wonderful children whom I utterly adore.

So, those are the basics.

I originally joined this community because at first it seemed that my hubby and I were going to create a co-parenting quad, but now, separation seems to be the best solution. So--I could use some help with creating a peaceful and sane separation process, if anyone has any resources to recommend.

Sorry, I don't know any particular resources to recommend, but see the search menu at the top of this window; you can do tag searches as well. You might try something like a search for "amicable separation." You could google that as well.

Is there likely to be a divorce here? Do you and your husband both want the separation to be amicable? If so, then you have an important goal in common.
