So, I signed up and did an intro post sometime last year but have only ever lurked on & off since. Now I'm thinking I want to start a blog in the life stories section to work through some stuff and have somewhere to spew random thoughts, so I figured I should redo the old intro thing!
Brief situational info: I'm female, 30 and married. My husband has a girlfriend and I have a boyfriend. My husband & I have been poly for about 2 years now. His girlfriend & my boyfriend used to be a couple but broke up last year. I'll go into more detail (& give people names & stuff!) when I actually start the blog, but if anyone wants to know more now, just ask

Hi there! Is the situation difficult since they are broken up? Or are they amicable?

It was very messy to be honest (the break up wasn't mutual - she left him), and very difficult for a long time. I think we might be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel though *fingers crossed*

Ouch! That had to be very hard to navigate, trying to be supportive and not being stuck in the middle at the same time.

Yeah, it's not been easy... The 'she left him' statement above is actually a bit of a simplification - it was her that made the decision to end it but they both played a part. I'll probably go into more detail in my blog when I get to that point of the story.

Welcome back, Papillon. It is great that you are doing a blog on your situation. Sounds like you have faced some challenges.
Regards, Kevin T.
