I know I am late on arrival here, but I just wanted to say welcome, and express my sorrow/sympathy at hearing of your discouraging situation. You don't want to be in a relationship where all the shots are called for you, especially if he's so angry so often and things might get dangerous.

You have heard much wisdom from other members already. I will just second that, and remind you to take care of yourself and be as careful as possible.

I know how to cover my tracks just in case he does have some knowledge. But out of the last 10 years he has probably spent 3 locked up, 5 doing illegal activities, and the past 2 with me working as a scrapper and painter/blaster. He didn't even know how to play a video game on the computer. And on top of that I use the play that I bought the laptop so it's mine kind of thing.
