I'd just like to echo some other people's posts. Yes...please get some professional help, this situation for you is not healthy...it's very dangerous.

At the moment (and also all the time) you need and deserve deep and ongoing care. Find it where you can....

I had some very effective therapy for close to 2 years. I saw someone weekly...and then fortnightly towards the end. Yes, it did change my life...on a very ongoing basis...everything has stayed with me and I'm so much better and happier because of it.

I've got a pyschology degree too....and counselling changed my life.

Tristania,
I hope things have improved for you. Did you and your husband get the help you needed? How are you doing?

No, you don't have polyamory here, just bad monogamy...

Your husband doesn't respect you or your needs. He's emotionally abusing you to get what he wants. He's a bully, and he will be a bully as long as you allow him to behave like that.

Whoa, perfect example of gaslighting, she is second guessing herself. Sweetie, you are DEFINITELY being abused, manipulated, and twisted. He is possessive, selfish, and insecure as hell! Please do yourself a favor and get out of this relationship. It's toxic. He is abusing not only you, but the other women too.
