My story is too complex for chronology; thus I will start in the middle.
Late last night, I found $8,880.
My most active checking account has been scraping the floorboards. This last year, I've had next to no income, nearly got evicted for non-payment of my paltry rent, and have survived mostly off food stamps. My second checking account has had a steady balance of $1.77 for months and months, and I never look at it. Except last night, when I found a new balance of $8,881.77. If I wait til Thursday, I can hold $10,000 cash in my hand.
This is typical of my quixotic, feast-or-famine life. This blog will chronicle my attempts to find balance.
