Did he ever do the right thing and tell her or are you still waiting on him to do the right thing? (Whether or not she does the right thing has nothing to do with his failure to do so.)

While polyamory, open relationships, and swinging are all distinctly different approaches to non-monogamy, they are not mutually exlusive. Folks can, and some do, engage in more than one of them at a time--and it's all good.
