Thanks again for the feedback everyone. Just a quick update to say that things seemed to have gone over surprisingly well. Jen did accuse me of simply being jealous, and that I didn't understand her situation with her husband. But a lie's a lie, so it's pretty obvious that the three of us weren't compatible on a fundamental level. Generally, I'm feeling relieved and somewhat better prepared for whatever the future holds.
