I have been polyamorous for as long as I can remember falling in love...in kindergarten I already dreamed of being and ultimately living with two boys
I have a great relationship (well, with pitfalls and troubles too, of course) for almost twenty years with a man I have two children with. I have always had secondary involvements, some more succesfull than others.
It hasn't always been easy but I have relished in always trying to be a responsible 'pivot' and keeping everyone happy...that's what I like doing. Realising that double the fun is also double the responsibility.
For the past three years I had a secondary relationship with a man that inspired me and made me happy in all respects...
until things started going seriously wrong when he started a secondary relationship and this lady would not accept polyamory as a possibility. He was too spineless to handle things too and really dissappointed me. I am getting my story off my chest here also to warn anyone out there....
there are so many stories about primary partners not acceptiing secondaries, but so little on secondaries fucking things up between primary partners!
Usually of course because it's up to the 'pivot' to ensure communication and sort out issues... if he or she doesn't, it's pain all round...
Please read my story 'Hard to believe but this is how it went...'
And please be honest if you think I should have handled things diffently (well got out sooner of course, I know that
