This isn't in regards to your question-but to your last post.
Something my bf and I found helpful over the years-especially when we were apart without ability to contact is a journal.
We each write in a journal to each other every day. All of the little things we would have said if we were together, the trivial shit no one cares about and the things we miss or whatever.
It helps in terms of not feeling so apart. Then, when we are together again, we trade.
great reading and reinforces our bond.
