Polyamory: Married and Dating

I just watched the season premiere of Polyamory: Married and dating. I would love to hear others thoughts on the show.

Is it explosive of who we are?

Is it too sex driven and not enough relationship building?

Is anyone else concerned that it is focused on southern California?

Except for the concern about it always being in southern CA, I am neutral on other thoughts and really want to know what you think.

There's already a thread about it but my opinion is it sucks. Hopefully not too many people watch it and assume that is what poly is about. I was really excited about the show too. Perhaps TLC will do a real poly show?

I didn't realize there was another thread. lol

It grew out of a thread the director posted as a casting call some time ago, so it may not be immediately obvious that that's what it's about.

I like the idea of starting a new thread for the new season though... just to assist with clarity. I haven't seen the season premier yet as Hubbs is at his other house and it's a show we watch together, but I understand that the quad is back and there's a new triad or V.

I'm kinda bummed that last season's triad isn't back we really liked them and thought that they had some really good things going on in their relationships and since we are in a V we found that their experiences gave us some really good topics of conversation to help our relationships.

`

Why did they keep the Swingers and get rid of the real Poly Triad?

I hope this new triad, turns out as well as the last.

I also really liked last seasons triad. They were real and we could relate to them.

I am not really digging the new triad. They seem very plastic and their dynamic doesn't feel poly. They come off as three people who live together and have sex.

And if a couple were on the screen who did not appear to be externally woowoo romantic would you say they don't feel mono to you?

(not that I care for the show at all, it is vile).

Im going to wait on passing judgment, at least they are willing to explore bi men and their presence in the world.

The triad...the one with the man who is married to the brunette and recently made commitments to each other? They were the reason I kind of liked the show! And forgive me for sounding barbaric but both of them were so smoking hot!
