Evening everyone,

Im Erin from cali, I am still relatively new to the area. Im 26 and excited about exploring poly.Any advice will be welcomed for a newbie like me thank you.

Welcome to our forum.

I recommend reading the book "Opening Up," by Tristan Taormino. It will answer many of your questions and give you much staple advice. Also reading and posting here on Polyamory.com will help you.

Usually the most critical part of any poly/open relationship (or any mono/closed relationship for that matter) is communication. So pay close attention to your communication style and look for ways to improve it ... better quality and more quantity. Learning to communicate well is a lifelong process.
