Hi there
I am new to this site but I'm glad to be here. I live in the Bronx and would like some tips on where there are poly group meetings.

hustler, welcome to the forum.

New York City has a very active poly group or two monthly meet-ups plus several annual events throughout the year.

You can try this link as a start: http://www.poly-nyc.com/

Hope this helps!

Thanks. I noticed it was mainly for the lesbian/gay community and I am a straight guy but I am checking out the links.

I get the feeling that there is a lot of overlap there, and that people of all orientations are welcome. I went to one of their poly picnics a few years back in Central Park and didn't get an overwhelming agenda of any particular orientation.

Another resource to try that might be interesting for you would be: http://www.meetup.com/New-York-Poly-Meetup-Group/ or http://groups.yahoo.com/group/nycmetropolys/

Cool thanks. I have tried personal ads but its hopeless. I want to meet polys on a regular basis.

Yeah, totally agree - personals have their function, for sure, and suit some people, but I like the idea of a social group who happen to have poly in common, to get to know people as "just" people, rather than looking at them (or them looking at me) as a potential date or not. It creates a very different dynamic.

In terms of poly personals, a lot of people like OKCupid.Com for a free poly-friendly (i.e. you can set your relationship status to "available") site.
