View Full Version : Neurological Responses to Love
Normally I tend to dislike TED somewhat for their elitism and blase attitude towards real problems, but every once and a while an interesting one comes along.

I'm not a big fan of Helen Fisher. She's become a popular "authority" on relationship issues, but she can't seem to wrap her mind around the idea that some people are non-monogamous.
I cant claim familiarity with any of her other work.

Do a search, she's been discussed here before. I'm not a fan of hers, either.

I watched *some* of that video (posted above). My tendency is to think that biology and the brain can provide *partial* explanations of the love experience, but that there is always the lurking danger of reductionism in these fields (brain science, biology [sociobiology]).
What is it you're not liking about her, Nycindie?
