Who I am and My situation

I'm in my 30's and have been in a long time relationship that's been mostly monogamous until recently.

I have had a lot of friends who've been in open relationships, and I've seen some be more successful than others.

My significant other is seeing someone else, and has been for several months now.

I'm not seeing anyone and sometimes struggle with the shift to an open relationship.
